As head of Exhibitions at Eye Filmmuseum, Jaap Guldemond put the museum on the map internationally by exploring the boundaries between film and art. He organised innovative exhibitions, such as with Béla Tarr, and collaborated with filmmakers and artists. When he retired, he was appointed Founding Director Eye Art Collection, with the aim of building an art collection for Eye. Guldemond is now working on his final exhibition and a publication about the exhibitions of the past twelve years.
