Office Manager

We are looking for someone who can join our team immediately as an office manager. As an office manager, you support our team with a wide range of tasks. You assist with day-to-day administrative matters and further business operations. These activities involve supporting the financing of projects, as well as their development, and further post-production and financial work for our feature films. Isabella Films and N279 Entertainment are sister companies led by producer Els Vandevorst. Isabella Films was founded in 1997 and has since co-produced major international productions such as DANCER IN THE DARK, DOGVILLE (Lars von Trier), and IT'S ALL ABOUT LOVE (Thomas Vinterberg). Following the successful collaboration on films such as OORLOGSWINTER and HET ZUIDEN, producer Els Vandevorst and director Martin Koolhoven founded N279 Entertainment in 2011. In addition to Martin Koolhoven's BRIMSTONE, N279 Entertainment has produced films by other directors, including Mike van Diem (DE SURPRISE), Nanouk Leopold (BOVEN IS HET STIL), and Vincent Bal (NONO, HET ZIGZAG KIND). Isabella Films was previously also responsible for the film by Christophe van Rompaey (LENA) and the recently released debut of Muriel d'Ansembourg (TRULY NAKED), which successfully premiered at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this year. N279 Entertainment and Isabella Films produce films of artistic value alongside indispensable audience potential. We look beyond the Dutch borders and make films with an international character, which are financed through international funding. Isabella Films focuses on supporting undiscovered raw talent as well as emerging female filmmakers with a unique and authentic vision.

ScriptAcademy

Registration for the Screenwriting professional training is now open.

ScriptAcademy's two-year professional screenwriting course starts at the end of October. Led by various instructors from the field, you will learn all the ins and outs of this fantastic profession. You can register now! Screenwriting is a difficult, beautiful, and teachable craft with rules, preferences, and taste. You create drama, exploring how to deal with universally human dilemmas: growth, loss, relationships, betrayal, jealousy—in short, the furthest reaches of every human emotion and insight imaginable. Drama is life in a pressure cooker. As a screenwriter, you make this life visible and palpable. In ScriptAcademy’s professional training, you learn all aspects of screenwriting: how to structure the script, how to bring characters to life, and last but not least: what you have to say. Philip Delmaar, instructor, Golden Calf winner, and former ScriptAcademy student: “For me, ScriptAcademy was a springboard, partly because you end up in a group of like-minded people, people who approach life in the same way. The instructors provided a wealth of professional knowledge, and also helped me tap into my strengths: the fact that I am a screenwriter.” ScriptAcademy has been providing courses and a professional training program in screenwriting for nearly 25 years. Led by our permanent lecturers and a diverse range of guest lecturers, we offer a solid and up-to-date curriculum. You can register until August 1, 2026.
