The shooting of the feature film "Spinoza", directed by Rudolf van den Berg, has started. Pierre Bokma and Bart Bijnens play the roles of Rembrandt and Spinoza respectively. The screenplay, written by Van den Berg, is inspired by a play by Dimitri Frenkel Frank and follows the young philosopher Spinoza who fights injustice in Amsterdam in the 17th century. The film, produced by Flinck Film and DEEP.Amsterdam, will be released in Dutch cinemas next year by September Film.
