Sandra Beerends' film "Neshoma" has won the FOCAL Award for Best Use of Archive Material in a Historical Film. "Neshoma" brings interwar Amsterdam to life with archive material from the Eye Filmmuseum collection and the fictional story of Rusha, inspired by testimonies from the Jewish community. The film is produced by Family Affair Films and sales are managed by AUTLOOK Filmsales. "Neshoma" premiered at IDFA at the end of last year.
