Don Wei, a graduate of the Utrecht University of the Arts Utrecht (HKU), will present his horror-science fiction film "Help!" at the Netherlands Film Festival. Shot in Suriname, the film explores the destructive consequences of boundless empathy through the story of Dwayne, who loses his grip on reality after a mysterious encounter. Inspired by Surinamese spirituality and international horror, Wei directed and wrote the screenplay. "Help!" is characterized by a stylized approach with cool color tones and an experimental narrative style.
