Director Emma Branderhorst's short film "My Mother and I," following a successful festival run including a premiere at Berlinale Generation 2023 and a Golden Calf for Best Actress, was released for free online as a Vimeo Staff Pick Premiere starting September 10th. Starring Celeste Holsheimer and Hannah van Lunteren, the film explores the complex relationship between mother and daughter, themes of control and desire, and the subtle changes that shape us. The screenplay was written by Nena van Driel.
