Babette Wijntjes, founder of the VR distribution platform Nu:Reality, has plans to expand internationally. Launched in 2022, the platform showcased VR works in three Dutch cinemas and is now expanding to France and Belgium. Nu:Reality, which makes VR more accessible to smaller cinema operators, offers 360° films and interactive stations in the foyer. The second edition expanded to four additional cinemas. Nu:Reality receives support from Europa Cinemas and the Netherlands Film Fund. The third edition kicks off on October 9th with Dutch VR art.
