The Netherlands Film Fund selected ten projects for the first production round of 2026, with total contributions ranging from €50,000 to €1.2 million per project. Feature films received the largest amounts, with Paul Sin Nam Rigter's *The Grass Route* and Victoria Warmerdam's *I'm not a Robot* each being awarded €1,200,000, while Timon van den Elskamp's *De Viking van Woensel* received €950,000. Three documentaries were selected: Sakir Khader's *The ReturnIdlib*, Jan Louter's *The Last Days of a Rural Life*, and Aliona van der Horst's *The Return*. The animation and research projects, including *Hellfighter – A Modern Odyssey* and Dries Verhoeven's *Orgasmagoria*, received smaller contributions.
