Dutch animation takes center stage at the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS), which takes place from May 5 to 10, with a broad selection of films and makers traveling to Stuttgart. The stop-motion short film *Zwermen* by Janneke Swinkels and Tim Frijsinger is competing in the international competition, while *Down in the Dumps* by Vera van Wolferen and *A Dog's Life* by Sophie Olga de Jong and Sytske Kok are both competing in the children's program competition. *The Places We Call Home* by Meike van Son has been selected for the student competition. Hisko Hulsing is curating an In Persona program and also serves on the jury, while studios Submarine and Spotted Bird are participating in the Studio Presentation program.
