From June 4 to 6, the first Dutch edition of the Composers Soundtracks Festival takes place, an initiative by Brazilian composer and producer Marcos Souza that centers on film music and its creators. The program includes concerts, workshops, panels, and masterclasses at LantarenVenster in Rotterdam and Teatro Munganga in Amsterdam, covering themes such as film scoring, European and Brazilian market policy, and contract practices. The opening consists of a screening of Central Station with a live soundtrack by the CSF String Quintet conducted by Anselmo Mancini, while Giacomo Bonetti addresses current challenges regarding rights and EU policy.
