Wrong Direction is a powerful short film by Yassine Moufid about an insecure boy from a troubled family, who is judged from all sides by an unexpected incident and encouraged to put his morals aside. This project will be used as an admission to the Netherlands Film Academy.

What do we offer?
Since this is a student production, we do not offer compensation. We will, however, reimburse your travel expenses and provide a delicious lunch. In addition, you will meet many new people in the film industry and there will be an opportunity to network afterwards!

Description
We are looking for a number of actors for Wrong Direction.

Leading role: Rachid
A sweet and insecure boy who often acts very tough and takes the opinions of his family and friends very seriously. He finds peace with his girlfriend, who has a different view on life than his social circles.
Who are we looking for:
Boy (18-21 years) of Middle Eastern/North African descent, scooter license required.

Supporting role: Hamza
Rachid's older brother. He feels responsible for his little brother and shows this through his behavior.
Who are we looking for:
Boy (21-25 years) fit, of Middle Eastern/North African descent.

Supporting role: Lina
Rachid's girlfriend. Lina comes from a wealthy family and always looks at situations from a sober and reasonable perspective.
Who are we looking for:
Woman (19-24) of Dutch descent, there will be no intimate scenes.

Supporting roles: Faisal & Kubi
Rachid's friends. They get into a lot of mischief and often hang out together on the street.
Who are we looking for:
2 boys (17-22) of Middle Eastern/North African descent,
A scooter license is required for the role of Faisal.

Supporting Role: Father Rachid & Hamza (Voice Actor)
Male (40-65) of Middle Eastern/North African descent. Please note: We only need a recording of your voice!)

Supporting role:
Woman (25-35), scooter license required.

Supporting role:
2 boys/men, face will be unrecognizable on screen.

Experience is not required, but is an advantage
