For a poetic, introspective short film in the spirit of the Nouvelle Vague we are looking for driven actors and actresses. The film will be shot in a guerrilla manner, with spontaneity, creative freedom and a raw, intimate atmosphere as central themes.

The film follows Merie, a woman who, after cancer, tries to find her place in a volatile world. From quiet morning rituals to uninhibited nights on the dance floor, and from loneliness to absurd observations – her journey unfolds as a story of self-acceptance, beauty and confronting mortality.

This role requires an actress who can bring Merie to life without spoken words. In order to interpret her character in an authentic way, we will have several conversations in advance to arrive at the right interpretation together. The focus is on physical expression, subtlety and embodying emotions.

Who are we looking for?
All nationalities are welcome, as long as you speak Dutch (to ensure smooth conversations before the film):

- Leading role (Merie, 25-30 years): A sensitive and creative woman with very short hair (or bald).
- Supporting Role (Best Friend, Ages 25-30): An expressive, energetic woman - someone who adds color to Merie's emotional journey
- Various smaller roles (18-65 years): We are open to different people and stories (m, f, x). Even if you do not feel directly addressed for a specific role, we would like to hear from you. Together we will see if there is a suitable place for you within the story.
