Costume Designer / Stylist Wanted for Short Horror/Fantasy Film Friends
For our short horror/fantasy film Friends we are looking for a costume designer/stylist with an eye for detail, color and character. This will be a visually strongly stylized film, inspired by bitter Russian fairy tales and the look of 40s/50s Technicolor cinema (4:3).

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with an experienced art director and prop maker, both professionals who have worked on multiple films and are ready to help you bring the visual universe of Friends to life.

About the film & production
Friends is an original horror/sci-fi film with a strong focus on art direction, costumes and props.

The film is shot in a single location with purpose-built sets, meaning styling and costumes play an important role in establishing the atmosphere, time period and characters.

Previously we made Una Volta, a short film selected for Imagine, FilmQuest, Fantasporto and more.

We are currently in post-production of our ultra-short film Doors and want to achieve another great festival run with Friends.

It is a passion project, where a good atmosphere on set and a good result are both important...

- Someone with experience as a costume designer or stylist for film, theatre or photo shoots.
- Affinity with fantasy, horror and vintage styles is a plus.
- Creative, solution-oriented, and able to create something special within a limited budget.
- Team player who enjoys building a cinematic world together.

Job requirements / profile
- Thinking about the visual identity of the characters.
- Design, assemble or collect costumes based on the script and visual references.
- Collaborate with the art director and prop maker to create a consistent overall look.
- Ensure the presence, continuity and care of the costumes during shooting days.
