In the film, Tim (14) and Boukje (7) are left home alone. Their parents are going through a divorce and the tension in the house is clearly noticeable. Tim seeks distraction from the situation by surrendering to the routine of TikToks and Instagram Reels. Boukje has no phone and goes looking for ways to combat her boredom. She fantasizes about life as a skipper and converts the living room into an ocean with her fantasy ship in the middle. She tries to get Tim's attention, but he only wants to use his phone.

Only when Boukje saws into her finger while sawing the mast does Tim have to intervene. In this way he is confronted with the responsibility he should have taken. But he also sees the mess in the living room, and is afraid that his parents will blame him for this. When Tim expresses his frustration, he hurts Boukje, who sees her ship in the mess. Only when Tim opens himself up to Boukje's fantasy world can he really connect with his sister, and they sail away, as it were, from the sea storm that contains their separation from their parents.

Boukje: V, 7 to 9 years
Boukje is an energetic girl with a big imagination. She dreams of becoming a skipper of her own boat, and builds a big fantasy ship with all the furniture from her house.

Tim: M, 13 to 15 years
Tim is a teenager who can lose himself in his favorite sport: competitive swimming. But now that his parents are going through a divorce, he retreats behind his phone. But when he goes along with Boukje in her fantasy, he loosens up and feels the enthusiasm he had as a child again.
