For our short film "Under Supervision" we are looking for motivated crew members.
The film tells the story of Iris (15), who, in the waiting room of youth care, becomes entangled in a fantasy of what could happen to her. It's a psychological thriller with a socially urgent theme: youth care in the Netherlands. The film will be submitted to festivals and used in educational contexts.
We work with a small but ambitious crew and want to create a strong and cinematic film together.

What do we offer?
Unfortunately, we don't have a large budget available and will most likely be unable to provide any compensation, or only a very small one, beyond travel expenses.

We're still looking for a few enthusiastic crew members to complete our team. Experienced and inexperienced alike, everyone is welcome!

-2nd AD (Making sure everything runs smoothly and according to schedule)
-Gaffer (lighting manager)
-Best Boy / Lighting Assistant
-Sound recorder (set sound)
-Art department (props, set dressing, clothing)
-Make-up (basic make-up and touch-ups)
-PAs (Production Assistants) – primarily for extras and set support
-Runner (On-set assistance to quickly drive back and forth if necessary)

Job requirements / profile
-Motivation and commitment are at least as important as experience.
You don't have to know everything, as long as you're willing to learn and participate, it's already great!
-Affinity with independent film and socially relevant themes.
-Available during shooting days and willing to flexibly take on multiple tasks.
The film deals with some pretty intense subject matter. If that bothers you, you might want to avoid it.
