I am looking for an actress for the film. The short film "De Lifter" is a psychological thriller about a young hitchhiker named Anna who returns to the Netherlands after a long journey and wants to spend one last night at a campsite before returning to her normal life. When the adventurous Anna decides to hitchhike to a campsite after her trip through Asia, she gets into a car with a friendly driver who offers her a ride. During the ride, silences, subtle behaviors, and growing suspicion create an oppressive atmosphere, making Anna feel increasingly unsafe. But as the tension mounts, it slowly becomes clear that not everything is as it seems and that Anna might actually be the one hiding something.

What do we offer?
Because this is a student/beginner project, there is unfortunately no budget available. However, it offers a great opportunity to gain experience and build material for a portfolio.

Role of Anna: For a short psychological thriller, we are looking for an actress for the lead role of Anna (17-23 years old).
Anna is a 19-year-old traveler who has just returned from a long trip through Asia. At first glance, she is spontaneous, independent, and lives by instinct. She makes connections easily and radiates a certain freedom and self-confidence. At the same time, there is a layer of tension beneath that surface: she observes keenly, sometimes reacts unexpectedly, and can be difficult to fathom.

What we are looking for:
Female, playing age 18–23 years
Strong in non-verbal acting (subtle expression)
Capable of creating tension
Natural and believable acting
