synopsis Petticoat gaat over Patricia Jagersma, die zichzelf Pattie Hunt noemt. Ze droomt ervan de Nederlandse Doris Day te worden, ondanks dat haar naaste omgeving het afraadt. De musical vertelt het humoristische verhaal van een provinciaal dagdromend meisje dat zichzelf maar al te graag verliest in haar fantasie over een toekomst als ster.
