About 15 years ago, we had little money to buy various food items. Therefore, we regularly ate simple dishes, mainly recipes with potatoes. Even now, due to low income, I still regularly have an empty fridge. I wanted to use these experiences, that affected me, in a short film. We've it so good these days, don't we? I thought of the Second World War, when people had hardly any food left. Often only (poor quality) potatoes. What would it be like if food was affordable for everyone in the world? Is it sci-fi when a potato is replaced by a pill? When all daily nutrients are present in a cheap pill?
