My name is Valérie,
At the age of 14 I started at Pitboel Theater in Sittard, where I took theater lessons for several years.
After graduating from high school, I continued with acting lessons in Amsterdam at Theaterschool de Trap, under the guidance of Erik van 't Wout. Here I followed the Film/TV, Acting for the Camera course. Among others, I was taught by Erik van 'T Wout, Nelleke Zitman, Hans Breetveld, Kim Scheerder, Peter Sonneveld and David Goddyn. I also took voice lessons during this study from Jeannette Huizinga.
In 2020 I started Acting for Camera at the Mulholland Academy in Amsterdam in collaboration with Alex Murphy. Later I added Play Production and Scene Study.
In addition to Dutch, I speak fluent English (with a good ear for accents) and I can make myself clearly understood in French and German.

Over the past few years I've worked on a variety of Short films, like Reframe (2023) and IDUS (2022). Additionally I worked as an extra for WTFock and the opera Mariken in de tuin de Lusten in collaboration with Hannah Hoekstra.
