I am Robert — a storyteller in image and sound. After a four-year audiovisual education, I have developed myself into an all-round AV maker, with a clear dream: directing. I want to touch, surprise and connect people with what I bring to life on screen.

Hell's Gate (2024)
At the 48 Hour Film Project Amsterdam 2024, I, as a 20-year-old filmmaker, achieved great success with my film Hell Gate. It was a completely self-financed project, in which everyone worked voluntarily and without compensation. This adventure was a clear sign to me that I was made for this profession.

Multiplayer (2024)
My first participation in the 48 Hour Film Project took place in Rotterdam. It was a valuable experience in which I learned a lot about directing, especially by working with professional actors. I am very grateful for the inspiring people I was able to meet during this project.

Cuckold (2023)
During my internship at EMG in Hilversum I made the film Hoorndrager in 2023. It was my last chance to make a film with my friends in which I could fully indulge myself as a filmmaker. In December 2024 the film will be shown at Beeld en Geluid in Hilversum.

Devil's trumpet The Thornapple (2022)
My graduation film for the Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht was an exceptionally valuable experience. Together with my fellow students and good friends I was allowed to realize this film, which brought us a lot. Eventually we had a screening in Kinepolis Utrecht, where the film was awarded the prize for Best Sound Design.
