I started my career as an intern at a vfx company in Stuttgart, Germany. That work mainly consisted of compositing for commercials and corporate films with some 3D here and there. That internship led to the opportunity to make 3d models, textures and a matte painting for the Mexican film 'El Baile De San Juan'.
I completed my studies at Filmmore in Amsterdam where I worked as a composer on a number of projects including 'Nono, Het Zigzag Kind', 'Silent Ones', 'The Broken Circle Breakdown' and 'Mr. Morgan's Last Love'. The work varied from brushing off eyebrows, make-up residues, markers and cables to adding stars, fog, smoke and everything in between.
Since my studies I have been able to work almost non-stop on quite a few films including 'Frankenstein's Army', 'In Het Niets', 'App', 'Soof', 'Mannenharten', 'Kankerlijers', 'Flying Home', several TV series including 'Dr. Deen', 'In Love with Ibiza' and 'Divorce' and the miniseries 'De Prooi' and 'Van Gogh; a house for Vincent'.
With tasks such as amputating lower legs, renovating and destroying an apartment building for the Bijlmer disaster and just about everything in between, I have been able to both expand and sharpen my skills.
