Valérie began her journey in the world of theater at the age of 14, studying at Pitboel Theater in Sittard, where she took theater lessons for several years. After graduating from high school, she pursued further acting training in Amsterdam at Theaterschool de Trap, studying under Erik van 't Wout. There, Valérie enrolled in the Film/TV, Acting for the Camera course, receiving instruction from notable teachers such as Nelleke Zitman, Hans Breetveld, Kim Scheerder, Peter Sonneveld, and David Goddyn. She also enhanced her skills with voice lessons from Jeannette Huizinga.

In 2020, Valérie furthered her education by starting Acting for Camera at the Mulholland Academy in Amsterdam, collaborating with Alex Murphy. She later expanded her studies to include Play Production and Scene Study. Alongside her dedication to acting, Valérie is multilingual, speaking fluent English with a keen ear for accents and being able to communicate effectively in French and German.
