Before attending the film academy, Augustine studied audiovisual media for two years at the HKU, where she learned to work with image and sound in a broad field and completed an internship at the VPRO production “Beagle: In the wake of Darwin.”
At the film academy she edited the third-year production "Vuurrood" (2014, Isabel Lamberti) which won the PZC jury prize at the Film By the Sea festival and was selected for, among others, Kustendorf 2015 and the London International Documentary Film Festival.
She also edited the HKU graduation production "In September I'm home" (2014, Huibert van Wijk & Lotte de Jong), which was selected for the student competition at the NFF and screened at the Eindhoven Film Festival.
In her fourth year she collaborated on three telefilms during her internships with Dorith Vinken and Axel Skovdal Roelofs.
