Maurice Jonkers (1973, Arnhem, Netherlands) has a long-standing international business background, but his creative and free spirit proved greater than his corporate ambition. As an author, actor, artist and presenter, he tries to bring relief to people by looking at things in a different way. He paints a universal picture based on personal stories. Inspiration comes from 'simple and everyday' experiences. His work consists of publications of columns, verses and books, theatrical performances and film. Furthermore, he does not commit himself to a specific form, but combines them to his heart's content. His style is rhythmic, lyrical, clownish and laced with humor, emotion, music and 'grinta'
