Let me first introduce myself; my name is Grover Blom, I am 23 years old and I am training to become an AV Specialist at the Rijn IJssel in Arnhem.
I would like to start at the moment before I started this training:
I used to want to be a guitarist and from an early age I have always had a very strong affinity with music.
During my education I discovered that my interest and passion lie in editing and compositing. However, my motivation has always been music, I think editing to music is fantastic.
In my opinion, unlike the rest of my age, I have a limited affinity for Youtube. I did work for a YouTube channel as an editor and composer.
For an average 3rd year student I have already made quite a few productions. Before this I fulfilled a wide range of tasks, from on-set to off-set functions.
To give a small impression of my work I have put together a showreel. In this I have tried to show you my passion for music and image harmony!

If you have become curious about any of the productions mentioned in my showreel, you can find the direct links to these productions in the comments of the video.
I have a lot of knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and can handle After Effects well, so I have made a large part of my showreel with this. I also get along well with Photoshop and Audition.
I keep a weekly blog on Facebook, where I show or see an audio and/or video fragment every week. Below is an example of one of my posts: https://www.facebook.com/grover.blom.7/posts/1894561940774929 )
I really like that I have the option to connect context to my fragments.
I'm currently also working on my own radio show, something I've wanted to do for a long time, so I'm going to stream it live via Facebook. If you are curious about this, I will be happy to send you a few fragments.
As of February 13, I am looking for an internship.
In summary, my specialty is mainly editing and compositing.
I would, of course, like to learn as much as possible from you.
You are the kind of company I am looking for, I am very curious about your reaction!
I like to hear it!
