Mijn kracht ligt bij Conceptontwikkeling voor Documentaire films en Experimentele video kunst. Graag wil ik hierin verder doorgroeien in de vorm van samenwerking en in opdracht. Mijn kracht ligt bij thema's rondom archivering, mediaarchiologie en de rol van film en media in het huidige tijdperk.

Practical properties : My unique properties lie in my ability to acquire subjects for documentaries where intimacies can be exposed. My strength lies in making contact with the relevant subject and gaining trust. Theoretical properties : My interests lie in Media archaeology, Autobiographical film, the science of narratology and the connection between time, memory, transience and the medium of film.

Guusje America graduated from Autonomous Visual Arts and continued her career in a Master Audiovisual Visual Arts at KASK in Ghent. She specializes in Documentary film. During her bachelor studies she made several short documentaries, including 'Meisjes', which was shown at recognized film festivals in Limburg and exhibitions in Utrecht and the surrounding area.
