Born & rased in The Hague, the Netherlands with a mother from a Moluccan/Indonesian heritage & father from the Netherlands. I've been exposed to different cultures from a young age.
Majored in Business Economics, I discovered my passion was somewhere else.
Telling stories but also getting to know and immersing into them is.
Having spent time living abroad (a year in Australia and six years in China) I enjoy working in a multi-culture environment.
Within these years I also discovered my knack for languages, being able to speak: Dutch, English & Chinese.
Although I operate within 3 essential parts of filmmaking: direction, cinematography and
editing, my passion lies in cinematography.
Using the right tools, whether its equipment, framing or lighting, to create and deliver a story with a cinematic approach.
