trackrecord
Playing the role of a drug addict in a short film titled "The Newcomer", was a very important and timely project for me as it reflected the growing trend of prescription drug abuse in the U.S. It was also very personal as this struggle exists in my family.
Another project which I'm extremely proud to have been a part of was not a film but an Off-Broadway play titled "Reflections of a Heart". Based on a true story, it dealt with racism, hatred and violence towards African American soldiers returning home to the deep south from Europe after WWII. This was another timely project as it reflected the growing trend of racism in the U.S.
ask me for
I'm often seen for television, film and stage roles as an aging cop/detective and working class father... "a warrior with a heart".
specifics
Having received and MFA in Acting as well as many years of independent coaching in camera work, stage combat and improvisation in New York City, I can perform in quite a range of projects. My age range is late 40s - mid 50s. I stand at 5' 6" (167 cm) tall with an athletic build and Irish features. This, combined with my natural (but grounded) intensity lends a kind of unpredictable quality to my work in both drama and comedy.
