Annelien Nijland graduated as a fiction director from the Utrecht School of the Arts (2011). Her graduation film, "Noorderzon”, a film about a small village where people are very afraid of the wind was shown at the Dutch Film Festival. After her studies, she worked as a successful documentary photographer. Now, after years of exploring various worlds through photography, she is merging her two passions: tagging along with people and telling a story through the lens. A moving story this time.
