Maaike Abram was born and raised in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
From an early age on she loved the spotlight and was involved in performing, singing and dancing.
After finishing High school and several Audio visual courses she attended TV/Film/Foto make-up at Studio Bessels in Hilversum. Here she was taught all the beauty tricks about a perfect beauty make-up from Karin Melissant.
Maaike then became an apprentice of Attie Tabak and learned all different types of materials and techniques for 2D & 3D make-up, character design, airbrush, body paint and Special effects.
In the meantime she gave several make-up demos for Atelier maquillage for Lancome, Tommy 'Hilfiger' Colors and worked for the TV company EndeMol in Aalsmeer.
Her creative skills came in handy when she did special effects make-up for the film 'Both Ends Burning' by Edwin Brienen and when She transformed actress Elle Van Rijn into an Afghanistani for a symposium. Maaike is not just known for her work behind the camera. She is also known as a model, actress, dancer, entertainer and TV presenter. She has worked with numerous of talented people and loves to work in front and behind the camera.
