Stichting Cultural Aid is announcing an Open Call for 8 artists - aged 18 to 30 years old and from the Netherlands - to participate in this new international project. The proposed profiles of the young artists will be: script writers, documentary makers, photographers and visual arts artists; you will work with another group of 8 artists from Italy.
TOPIC
Global warming has a significant influence on the social, economic and personal attitude of the European population. This project will highlight floods as its particular concern amongst the global warming issues that directly affect the continent.
METHODOLOGY
Based on this 'hot' issue, the organisers have targeted 3 strategic regions, namely: Maierato in Italy; the province of Zeeland in The Netherlands and Brussels in Belgium.
The final results of the project are going to be presented in the form of a documented exhibition based on the texts, interviews, photos and films; materials will be produced throughout the entire process.
