Translating concepts into music has been at the basis of Gwen's career as a musician-for-hire since she started out at the age of 17, in 1999. Pursuing musical resonances with like-minded musicians, artists, directors, & friends the world-over has resulted in collaborations (both commercial and non) for TV, records, film, & stage with award winning artists such as Chris Dedrick (of The Free Design), Fleet Foxes, Berend Dubbe (of Bettie Serveert, Bauer), Benny Sings, Michael Leonhart (of Steely Dan, Plastic Ono Band), & The Metropole Orchestra.
Gwen Thomas also provides occasional work as a Native English speaking voice-over and a lyric consultant for Dutch songwriters seeking to improve their English lyrics.
