My name is Tristan Woldhek, a Dutch actor, theatre maker and performer with a strong passion for telling stories that leave an impact. I am drawn to characters with depth, contradiction and something underneath the surface, characters who may not always say what they truly feel. My acting journey has taken me from theatre and live performance to film and camera acting. I trained at Noorderpoort in Groningen and later studied at the Film Actors Academy in London, where I developed my skills in camera acting, self-taping, character work and physical storytelling. I have worked across theatre productions, short films, interactive theatre and educational performances, playing a range of different characters. Alongside acting, I am a theatre creator and educator. I founded Effact Productions with the goal of creating productions that stay with an audience after the performance is over. Much of my creative work explores subjects such as mental health, identity, relationships and the things people often struggle to say out loud. As an actor, I enjoy both dramatic and comedic work. I naturally bring energy and humour into a room, but I am equally interested in vulnerability, intensity and emotionally challenging material. I like finding the humanity in every character, whether they are the person everyone loves, the troublemaker in the room, or someone hiding something much darker. I am always looking to challenge myself, work with new people and tell stories that make an audience feel something.
