I’m a film director and cinematographer with over two decades of experience in filmmaking, working across commercials, branded content, documentaries and narrative film.
My work is driven by story, character and strong visual storytelling. Whether directing a commercial, documentary or narrative project, I’m interested in finding the cinematic language that best serves the story. From performance and atmosphere to camera movement, composition and light.
Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide range of productions, from smaller character-driven films to larger commercial and feature film projects. My background in cinematography gives me a strong understanding of how creative ideas translate to the screen, while my focus as a director remains on storytelling, performance and creating work with a distinctive visual identity.
I collaborate with production companies, agencies, brands and creative teams in the Netherlands and internationally, and I’m particularly interested in ambitious projects where strong storytelling and high-end cinematography come together.
