I started my professional acting career with a nameless guest part in Baantjer in 1995. Before graduating from drama school in 1996 I accepted a lead role in the first and only Dutch soap opera Goudkust. After having returned to the theatre for about two years I decided not to pursue a professional acting career anymore and develop other skills. In 2000 I joined Harry Klooster Casting at that time the biggest and most successful casting agency in the country. My first assignment was GTST one of the best watched and longest running Dutch drama series ever. In 2002 I joined Kemna Casting at that point the fastest growing agency in the country. I was given the opportunity to cast several episodes of Baantjer amongst other things. In 2003 I decided that I wanted to develop my writing skills and joined ScriptStudio BV for a short period of time before, after having learned a lot, moving back to casting at Oi Mundo Casting Agency. In 2005 it was time to start freelancing as a casting director. Highlights so far being Dazzle by Cyrus Frisch and Gewichtig Wachten by Michaël Sewandono and Floris Schönfeld.
