Tungsten opens own studio complex just outside Amsterdam

Since April of this year, Tungsten, a designer and producer of audiovisual content since 1991, has had his own film studio in rural Broek in Waterland, six kilometers north of Amsterdam. From the hustle and bustle of the city to the tranquility of the polder: at most fifteen minutes by bus, and even less by car. And there is plenty of parking space, too.

Over the past few months, a former meat warehouse was transformed into a fully equipped studio consisting of three spaces of approximately 200m² each, one of which is equipped with a green screen. Since its opening in April, various parties have already found their way to Tungsten Studio, which also features office space, dressing rooms, and a shower. Producer Talpa filmed scenes for the RTL4 TV program Dance Dance Dance. The Gerrit Rietveld Academy hosted its annual film workshop there. The Fotomuseum Rotterdam held its presentation for the Parademuseum there. The Broekse Kunstroute found a home there, and episodes of the feature film/thriller Out for Vengeance were filmed during the first weekend of June.

Tungsten Studio offers a wide range of possibilities under one roof. From setup to rehearsals to shooting. From art to commerce (and everything in between). A place where makers and innovators, masters and apprentices, can work together.
