We are looking for a person with a cultural interest, but above all someone with financial knowledge.

The Treasurer meets with the foundation board four times a year. During these meetings, the Treasurer reports together and in consultation with the Business Manager on the current financial state of affairs.
In addition to attending Board meetings, the Treasurer is responsible for drawing up quarterly extras. This is of course done in close consultation with the Business Manager who is responsible for the daily financial activities.

About Kaaalmakers
Children and young people in the Netherlands are vulnerable, increasingly have mental problems and there is an increase in crime. They are bombarded with problems while growing up in a confusing and polarizing society. What does that do to them? Where do they find support? It is important that their voices are heard. Young people want to tell their story, Kabaalmakers facilitates this by offering them tools to shape their story.
Kabaalmakers makes documentaries for youth together with youth.
Young people learn the tricks of the documentary trade during workshops. They become aware of their voice and take the stage. All processes of creative collaboration, growing together and learning skills together, help them to get to know themselves and their talents better.

Job requirements / profile
Skills:

Sound knowledge of finance
Keeping finances in order with the Business Manager and support in submitting VAT returns (quarterly)
administrative insight and knowledge, mastery of working with Excel
preparing quarterly extras together with the Business Manager
together with the Business Manager, have the annual accounts drawn up by the administrative office
interest in and affinity with the activities of Kabaalmakers is an advantage
think about the future of the Kabaalmakers Foundation
