Description
In the film we tap into the local folk legend of Gussen Wie, an artist from the 1950s who actually placed statues for every felled tree.
For the short film 'The Magistrates' we are looking for an experienced sculptor/visual artist who can create 3 visual works
replicate/manufacture in the spirit of this Leunse sculptor. The statues should be of impressive size (2.5 meters) but remain mobile enough to transport through a forest.
Manufacturing options can range from chicken wire, 3D printing to cork powder and textile hardener.
In several scenes we come close to the image where it should have a woody texture.
