Marlyn van Erp, originally a digital storyteller and documentary filmmaker, developed into a screenwriter after studying at the Script Academy. She wrote the shorts "Burners" (2024) and "Het ligt aan mij" (2024), directed by Abid Chand. Her recent project "Jackpot" is about a Ghanaian cleaner who has a winning lottery ticket but can't cash it. Together with Chand, she is working on "Brian <3 Iris for Life!!!" for the NPO Fiction Campus. She is also working with Nathalie Pagie on the carnival slasher "11/11," directed by Simone van Dusseldorp.
