The film and audiovisual sector has sent a letter to the House of Representatives urging it to implement structural reinforcements. Eleven industry organizations, including NAPA and the Dutch Directors Guild, emphasize the need for measures due to a tipping point in the sector. They propose the introduction of a fiscal and economic instrument, similar to those in Belgium and Ireland, and advocate for improved public-private partnerships and structural financing. They also call for attention to the position of independent productions and the protection of human creativity in the face of artificial intelligence.
