Thekla Reuten (50) is this year's recipient of the prestigious Rutger Hauer Award. The award is intended for "individuals or institutions that serve as role models for new generations of filmmakers and make a significant contribution to the development and visibility of emerging Dutch film talent." The presentation will take place on Sunday, January 25, during the Shortcutz Amsterdam Annual Awards at the Royal Tuschinski Theater in Amsterdam.
