LightHouseTV broadcast the documentary "Beerput Nederland" by producer Paul Ruven and director Wilfried Koomen without permission. The platform modified the film by removing credits, using a different title, and adding the LightHouseTV logo. Advertisements were also added. After attempts by Ruven and the KRO broadcasting company to take the film offline, KRO's legal department finally succeeded. The Dutch Audiovisual Producers Association and Stichting Brein condemn these practices.
