At SXSW 2026 in Austin, Texas, various Dutch immersive works and short films will be presented. The VR experience "Cycle" by Amit Palgi and Matunda Groenendijk will have its world premiere. "The Great Orator" by Daniël Ernst and "Lacuna" by Maartje Wegdam and Nienke Huitenga Broeren will also be on display. Furthermore, "Lesbian Simulator" by Iris van der Meule will have its international premiere, and "A Long Goodbye" by Kate Voet and Victor Maes will be screened. The short film competitions include "A Shot at Art" by Ilke Paddenburg and "How to Catch a Butterfly" by Kiriko Mechanicus.
