The film "PAAZ," directed by Anne de Clercq and based on the book by Myrthe van der Meer, premieres this month. The film tells the story of Emma, who unexpectedly ends up in a psychiatric ward and reassesses her perspective on life. De Clercq, who also wrote the script with Van der Meer, Eva Aben, and Lineke van den Boezem, wanted to approach the serious topic with humor without trivializing it. The film is part of the "Unhappy Socks" campaign, which raises awareness for mental health.
