The Netherlands Film Fund endorses the Fair Practice Code, which focuses on fair pay, safe working conditions, and transparent terms of employment for filmmakers, cast, and crew in all phases of film production. The Fund encourages fair practice through targeted subsidies that are part of the total fund subsidy. To support filmmakers in incorporating these principles into their applications, nine cultural funds, together with Platform ACCT and Kunsten '92, developed the Fair Practice Guide, a digital tool that offers concrete tips and explanations about what the funds consider important when assessing applications, available at fairpracticegids.nl.
