In the television film *Met Sinds gedaan*, airing on NPO3 on March 21, 2026, director Roxanne Stam follows 22-year-old Eli (Tara Hetharia) and her grandmother Winnie (Nel Lekatompessy) on a seniors' trip through Normandy following the death of Eli's father, Leo, during which the two women deal with grief in fundamentally different ways. Screenwriter Randa Peters alternates the main storyline with flashbacks to Leo's deathbed, which further deepen the characters while exposing the generation gap between a taciturn, possibly war-traumatized Winnie and the therapy-conscious Eli. Stam deliberately chose the rugged Norman landscape as a counterpoint to the void Leo leaves behind.
