At the 28th edition of the One World International Human Rights Film Festival, Maasja Ooms won the top prize with My Word Against Mine, a psychotherapeutic documentary that builds a layered dialogue between patients and their inner voices through a formal minimalist approach, exploring trauma, memory, and identity. Mehrdad Oskouei and Soraya Akhlaghi received the Best Director Award for A Fox Under a Pink Moon, about Afghan refugees in Iran. In the Václav Havel Competition, Nima Sarvestani won with Surviving the Death Committee, a film about a political activist who confronts the Iranian regime. The festival attracted over 22,800 visitors in Prague and presented 106 films.
