The Amsterdam Spanish Film Festival opens its twelfth edition on April 10 at Tuschinski with two films, including Las delicias del jardín, in which a father and son compete as painters for the best interpretation of Hieronymus Bosch's work, with director Fernando Colomo and actor Pablo Colomo in attendance. The Core Program screens seven recent Spanish films, while Spanish Cinema Without Fear presents four experimental works, including Emergency Exit by Lluis Miñarro. Furthermore, there are programs such as ASFF Cares with Maspalomas by Jose Mari Goenaga and Aitor Arregi, Latin Pride with Homo argentum by Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat, and Spain Meets Portugal with Una quinta Portugesa by Avelina Prat, with Maria de Medeiros visiting the festival. The festival runs until April 19.
