The court has rejected Edwin de Roy van Zuydewijn's request to gain access to the scripts of the RTL spin-off *Mabel & Margarita*, because granting it would unacceptably restrict freedom of expression. De Roy van Zuydewijn, who was married to Princess Margarita from 2001 to 2006, wanted to know how his personal life is incorporated into the series, as he has little confidence in RTL's handling of facts based on the earlier series *Máxima*. The series, which does not yet have a release date on Videoland, focuses on the period in which Mabel van Oranje and Margarita met their future partners.
