At the 25th Transilvania International Film Festival in Cluj-Napoca, the Netherlands takes center stage with the Focus Netherlands program, which combines recent debut films with cult classics. Muriel d'Ansembourg's Truly Naked, which premiered in Berlin, participates in the official competition, while Nanouk Leopold's Whitetail and Sven Bresser's Reedland, which were presented in Toronto and Cannes respectively, are also included. Furthermore, Aaron Rookus' Idyllic, Michiel ten Horn's Fabula, and films by Mercedes Stalenhoef and Dan Geesin are screening. The program honors Dutch film history with George Sluizer's Spoorloos and Paul Verhoeven's Spetters, with Sandra den Hamer and René Wolf serving on the festival juries.
